Halloween Dead Stock Sale

Get deep discounts on discontinued, one-off or imperfect goods.

The Halloween Dead Stock Sale is held once a year on Facebook only. It’s a first come, first served, no holds sale meaning the first person to comment on an item will be contacted to purchase it, then we move down the list. When is the Halloween Dead Stock Sale?

In 2021, the sale runs from October 22-24. Every year we announce the dates of this exclusive sale on our Facebook and Instagram pages, but the best way to keep in the loop is to become an RTS Insider. It’s free, and you’ll get exclusive premier access to all of our Halloween Dead Stock Sale items.

What is Dead Stock?

Dead stock are products that are no longer available for sale. These products generally fall into three categories.

1. Discontinued Products

Items that we have removed from our product catalogue. Typically items are discontinued if they are no longer making a profit for the company. For example, we used to sell engraved rolling pins but they take too much time to complete and are not worth carrying anymore.

2. One-offs

One-offs are items that we purchased as a test to see if they would be a good fit in our shop, but we have decided for one reason or another not to include them. For example, we may order a different size of cutting board than usual, or a different species of wood to test how the engraving will look.

3. Imperfect Goods

Imperfect Goods are items that fit into a category that we are currently selling, but may have slight imperfections that did not pass our high standards for regular sale. An example is a live edge board that does not sit level, or a cutting board that has a small hole on the face. Any imperfections are listed clearly in the item description.

How do I see what’s available this year?

To get an exclusive preview and early access to this year deals, sign up to be an RTS Insider. A few days before the sale, we’ll email you a private link that will showcase each item before it becomes available to the public.
Once the sale is running, all items can be viewed on our Facebook page. Click on Photos, then find the Album titled “Halloween Dead Stock Sale.” You’ll find a photo of each item along with a detailed description.

How do I purchase a Halloween Dead Stock Sale item?

On Facebook, go to Photos then Albums and find the Album called Halloween Dead Stock Sale. Comment on the photo of the item you’d like. We’ll send you a message to complete the purchase and collect any engraving details if needed. You will have ONE HOUR to pay in full before we move on to the next in line.
If personalization is possible, we’ll email you a design file to approve before we engrave. Orders must be paid in full before any design work is completed.

Does the price include personalized engraving?

If the item is customizable, then yes. The price you see includes engraving.

Some items are pre-engraved and therefore we cannot add to, or alter those designs. The description of each product will state if it can be personalized. This travel mug is an example of a pre-engraved product.

How will I know when my item is ready?

We will email you as soon as everything is ready. Please add to your contact list so it does not get directed as spam.

How do I get my items?

Contactless porch pick up is available from our Milton, Ontario studio. If you’d like us to ship your items to you, just let us know when you order and we can give you a quote depending on your shipping address.
