If you are looking for an easy way to give a stunning personalized gift, give a charcuterie board with wood engraved with a handwritten recipe. Our live-edge charcuterie boards are beautiful, but we can also engrave handwritten recipes on our cutting boards. All of our boards are sealed after engraving so they are ready to be used immediately. For a ready-to-give gift, be sure to add a gift box to your order! We will wrap the sealed board in tissue paper, and add our product care card before putting it in the gift box. Our gift boxes are high quality so they can be given as is, or you can choose to wrap them.

Our live edge charcuterie boards are sourced from Canadian artisans and are made from either Maple or Cherry wood. The term live edge means that the edge of the wood is left in its natural state. This classification refers to the overall look of the board. For boars without bark, the bark has naturally separated from the wood, so you may see small pieces still attached. For boards with bark attached, they may have small areas where the bark has naturally separated. As will all natural products there will be differences in colour and grain pattern in every piece. How to care for your charcuterie board wood:
We include a product care card with all orders, so whomever you are buying for will know exactly what to do. All natural wood products require regular conditioning and sealing. You have the option to add a container of our board balm above. You can also purchase similar products from kitchen supply stores in your area.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
- Re-seal with a natural, food-safe finish after cleaning.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
- Not dishwasher safe.
Tips for a gift with handwritten recipes:
When taking a picture of your recipe, the most important thing is to make sure there are no shadows. If needed, take multiple pictures of different areas of the recipe and we can piece them together. Learn more about gifts with handwriting.

Our standard (free) turnaround time is 10 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday not including statutory holidays. As always, we will strive to complete orders as soon as possible. When you check the “when do you need this” box, you are ensuring your order will be engraved and ready to pick up or ship by that date. Please note that shipping times are not included so please plan accordingly. For the fastest turnaround times choose “Milton Pick Up” on checkout. We will contact you immediately if we are unable to meet your timelines.
Standard turnaround times may increase depending on the season. Typically this happens in November, December, July & August. During these times, rush orders may not be available. For the most up-to-date information and advanced warnings when this may occur, please sign up for our email list.
Our studio is located in Milton, Ontario but we serve all of Canada. Contactless local pickup is available for clients in the surrounding regions of Oakville, Burlington, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Hamilton, Mississauga, Toronto, and beyond. Shipping is available nationwide.
